The Opportunity – Media Planning Lead

Lewis Media Partners is currently searching for a Media Planning Lead. As a Media Planning Lead, you will play a critical role in media planning for clients, be an integral part of the overall team in bringing plans to fruition and driving execution for the growth and retention of our clients. As a dynamic leader, you will help build, manage, and evolve the company to meet our internal growth goals as well as help grow success for our clients.

This is a critical role at LMP and an exciting time for our company – we have onboarded a business intelligence tool and top-notch analysts to help not only drive smarter media choices but to better understand how that media effects a client’s business. We are seeking a creative thinker and someone who can self-manage. Our ideal candidate will inquisitive, flexible, self-motivated, and hands-on for all aspects of a client’s business.

In this highly visible role, you will help to not only determine the most effective media plans, but you will also manage that plan through campaign execution; be an effective team leader and player; create new ideas to grow client business and help to create and communicate data insights. You will report directly into the President and VP of the company.

This role is based in our Richmond, VA office.

    • Create full media plans
    • Define campaign KPI’s and metrics
    • Be a storyteller to share target audience and industry research

What We’ll Expect

  • 3+ years of media planning/buying experience, including at least a 2-year focus of digital media
  • Thorough knowledge of the development of media strategy
  • Excellent writing and verbal communication skills (including presentation skills)
  • Must be highly skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and Power Point)
  • Thorough knowledge of media research tools for the development of target audience profiles and behaviors
  • Familiarity to create detailed media briefs and accurately and quickly share client input and feedback on campaigns and campaign performance with the internal team
  • Development of POV’s
  • Strong analytic skills and ability to relate results to client business objectives
  • Excellent time management and multi-tasking capabilities especially the skills to work with tight deadlines and on multiple clients and projects
  • The ability to work independently without daily oversight
  • Understand the concepts of media measurement and KPIs
  • Ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal team members
  • Bachelor’s Degree
