What’s your guilty pleasure media?
Probably radio. I love music and the fact that it can comfort you or help you de-stress. It can give you a sense of inner strength and can lift you up when you’re down. It can also keep me going on a run – gotta hit that power song to get you back home sometimes!
What was your first job working with media or advertising?
I worked in research at a cable buying company called Thompson-Everett. I’d research the cable systems in a given market, input any coverage or network information and then map it for clients.
What’s the best part about your job?
It’s a strong group that is always looking for ways to improve what we buy and how we buy. The media landscape is ever changing and our team is on top of those changes.
What’s in your Internet browser bookmark? Book shelf? Netflix queue?
My book shelf usually has a good beach read or mystery. My internet browser has some research sites and school websites to check my kids’ homework & grades!
If you could be any media, what would it be (and why)?
I’d be public TV – entertaining, educational and full of unique content.
